About RunSpace

Communication tools
shouldn't cost you
your privacy.

Most platforms trade convenience for data. They track what you say, who you talk to, and how often. RunSpace was built on the premise that this is the wrong tradeoff.

Private communication shouldn't require trust in a corporation. It should be guaranteed by the architecture itself.

Privacy by design

End-to-end encryption on all direct messages. RSA-OAEP + AES-256-GCM. Keys stay on your device.

Hosted in Europe

Running on Hetzner infrastructure in Germany. No US jurisdiction. No data sold to third parties.

Minimal data collection

No email required. No tracking pixels. Account keys are UUID v4 — no identity tied to your account.

Security by design

Rate limiting, behavioral trust scoring, hCaptcha on registration, and CSP headers throughout.

RunSpace started on December 24, 2025 — a single-person project with no roadmap, no funding, and no particular plan. Just a question: how far can this actually go?

It's independently built and actively developed. No investors, no advertising model, no growth-at-all-costs thinking. The only metric that matters is whether the platform is trustworthy enough to actually use.

The goal isn't to replace every chat app. It's to offer a credible alternative for people who think carefully about where their data lives — and who's reading it.

Not backed by advertising. There is no business model that depends on knowing who you talk to.
No required personal data. Sign up with a UUID key. No email, no phone number, no name.
Encryption you can verify. RSA-OAEP 2048-bit + AES-256-GCM. Keys are generated client-side and never leave your device.
Open protocol in progress. The goal is a published spec and open client code so you don't have to trust us — you can read it.
Actively maintained. One developer, consistent commits, long-term focus. Not a project that gets abandoned in six months.
